I weighed 6 lbs 12 oz when I was born - about a pound more than CB did when he joined us 3 weeks ago. Yet I was still considered small by my family. So small, that while playing a game of Scrabble, my parents captured a photo of me in the board game box to show how tiny I really was. Of course, I don't think this photo was ever planned until they started playing the game, but has been talked about by the family ever since.
So call Hubby and I crazy, but while my folks were in town we were playing a game of Scrabble (which I surprisingly won!), and we couldn't resist capturing a similar photo with our little man. Though CB weighed 5 lbs 13 oz when he was born, he was closer to 6 lbs 7 oz when we took this photo - a little closer to my birth weight. Any family resemblance?
Either way... it's fun to carry on this silly family tradition.
