Snow Days

It's been a pretty tame Winter for us. Actually, I'm sure all of the U.S. is feeling the same way, as temperatures have been super low and there's been minimal snow on the ground. For us, who moved from the arctic to our life out West, this was definitely a Winter that felt like an extra long Fall.

This season, we've rarely seen snow and, in fact, we've hardly had to wear winter jackets when heading outside. Hubby and CB have gone to the park, been outside for walks and truly enjoyed some good outside time. But with no snow.

So last week, it was a super fun to see the snow flakes coming down and filling up our yard. It meant that CB would be able to finally use his winter jacket and pull out dad's sled to play in the back yard.

The boys had WAY too much fun with each other. Sledding down our mini-hill, crawling out of the sled, sitting on our snow-covered bench, eating the snow (mainly CB) and making snow angels. I think they wanted to make every moment in the snow count, since they didn't know how long it would stick around.

Check out the pics of their adventures below.
