Thanks to Nana

One thing that I didn't mention in all my posting around Peanut's birth was about Nana (my mom) and how amazing she was with helping us during the week following our little girl's arrival.

As I mentioned before, Nana flew in the morning we went into the hospital. It worked out perfect that Peanut hadn't arrive yet, since Nana got to spend an entire day with CB to understand his routine before we took off for a couple of days at the hospital and she was on full CB-patrol.

It didn't take long for CB to warm up to her. A shared sunglasses case from Nana during a car ride and CB was putty in her hands.

While in the hospital, Nana did a great job keeping up with our busy little boy. They'd read book and play with toys. So much fun! And Hubby would come home to occasionally help her out, take her and CB to the hospital, or give Nana some time with me at the hospital.

Once everyone was back at home, Nana helped make meals, was a fantastic set of hands for helping around the house with the kids and played a mean game a cards with Hubby and I once the kids were both in bed.

Thanks Nana for all your help with everything. We miss you already and are so glad you came to visit. Love you!
