Happy Anniversary to Us

This week, Hubby and I are celebrating our 2nd year anniversary. Because our wedding reception took place at the Melting Pot (a fondue restaurant) in Florida with close family and friends, we have made it our anniversary tradition to visit the Melting Pot each year to celebrate. Let's just hope that we always live in a place that has this restaurant, because I'm loving this tradition!

For those of you that have never been, the meal is truly a full experience with a four course meal, starting with cheese fondue served with bread, apples and veggies.

The next course was salad, which isn't as picturesque (hence no photos). We then headed right into the main dish. We chose Filet Mignon and Chicken with a vegetable broth, which was served with veggies and multiple dipping sauces.

But of course, the experience is NOTHING without dessert. We ordered a Flaming Turtle fondue with dark chocolate. The pictures say it all, which is great, because all I can say is yum!

This type of tradition not only brings back great memories for us, but also gives us a good excuse to get a food coma one night each year. Additionally, it gives us a moment to take pause as a couple to reflect on the previous year and reminisce over where God has brought us. Overall - great food, great conversation and of course, great company.

Happy Anniversary Hubby! Thanks for the best 2 years of my life!
