What are your Easter traditions? When Hubby and I got married a few years back we each brought our family traditions into our marriage with the hope that one day we'd be able to share them with our kids.
Both Hubby and I grew up putting a lot of focus on Easter - and for good reason, since it's one of the most important holiday's we celebrate.
Now that CB is here, we have even more reason to carry on these traditions, so that we can show him the importance of Easter. So how did we celebrate this year?
We got up and watched the sunrise.
We listened to a few songs from the musical "The Story of Little Tree."
We went to the early service of church to celebrate that we have been saved by Jesus' death and resurrection.
We ate a full meal with family and friends. This year was extra special as we hosted "orphan Easter" dinner, which is for friends of ours that don't have family in town.
We had good family fun and ate candy (and in future years, will most likely be hiding it around our house).
We rested in the peace that comes from knowing that we have been saved by the grace of Jesus.
