Walking on Sunshine

This weekend we had one day of sunshine. And we took full advantage of it.

First, we were fortunate to be a part of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation's Great Strides Walk to support a close friend of ours - Jason. He's only 8 months old and was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis at 2 week's. Growing strong and cute as ever, our friend Jason is a true champ. We are so proud of how he's growing each day, and how his parents take such good care, giving him the best life possible - which included organizing around 60 "Jason's Journey" walkers for the Great Strides walk this past weekend.

We even got matching t-shirts for the walk, including CB, who had a custom onesies just for the occasion.

At home base before the walk.

In the middle of the 5k walk downtown.

After the walk, hanging out in Gallivan Center with friends.

Burping with Dad in the shade.

The second activity during our sunshiny day was to take CB to his first baseball game. Thanks to the good excuse to celebrate a friend's graduation with a bunch of friends, we ate good food, sat behind home plate and Hubby was able to review all his baseball lessons with CB.

Our minor league baseball team is no Minnesota Twins, but they are fun to watch and have a beautiful stadium with a great view. The bonus of the evening... getting our photo with the team's mascot - Bumble the Bee.
