4 Months!

It seems that with each new phase we encounter with CB that life keeps getting better and better. He's already 4 months old and his personality is really starting to shine through. 

Just within the past month he:

• Started laughing
• Sleeps even better through the night (10+ hrs)
• Discovered himself in the mirror
• Enjoys outdoors and smiles/coos every time we're outside
• Experienced his first baby sitter (an all day experience due to mom and dad's busy schedule)
• Brings toys to his mouth and sucks on EVERYTHING
• Is showing interest in rolling over with his half rolls to each side
• Discovered his sea horse friend in his crib and reaches out to him often
• Started to sleep without being swaddled
• Enjoys listening to music (whether daddy's singing with the iPod, or mommy practices the piano)
• Kicks and squirms enough to reposition himself while lying on his back
• Started teething

What's been the most fun is that CB started speaking his own little language to us. Similar to me and Hubby, he loves to communicate, and has no problem talking to himself, or whoever will listen. Just to show you some of the fun we've had with him lately - here's a video of CB trying to mimick Hubby saying "I love you." Note that this was right before bedtime and he's awake, talking, smiling and squirming. That's our little man - active and happy even up until bedtime (most nights)!
