7 Months!

Has it really already been 7 months since CB was born? It feels like just yesterday he was laying on the couch with no sign of rolling off, or sitting quietly in his car seat while Hubby and I went out to eat. But alas, 7 months is here and our little one is sitting up, giggling (w/ and w/o being tickled), eating puffs, finding his voice, twisting and turning around in his crib and altogether BOYsterous!

His independence and personality are even apparent when he's trying to fall sleep. Hubby and I constantly laugh as we check in on CB on the video monitor while he's 'sleeping". When he's falling asleep, our little one "talks" to himself, arches his back in order to make his way up to the top of the crib (even pulls off the bumper), and plays with his pacifier or musical seahorse that he gets to sleep with. He's also been recently pulling his feet up to his face and rubbing his face with his feet. Hilarious and super flexible! Thankfully, once he's checked out everything in his crib, he sleeps great.

This little boy is smiling when he wakes up. And continues to keep his smile going throughout the day. He captures the attention of people everywhere we go and smiles and coos at them too. I can already tell that our little Mr. Social is going to be a lot of fun to watch interact with the different people he meets.

The best is hearing his little voice try to talk. He puts his little lips and tongue together and says "Psssthh" over and over and over. It's a great sound to a mommy's ears - though I'm also holding out for the first time he says "mama."

Doesn't it look like he's saying, "What? Can you repeat that?"
