As you saw in my previous post, we spent Christmas at home - just the three of us. Normally we're with some of our family, but cost of traveling can sometimes dictate when we see our relatives. So instead of spending the extra money on direct plane tickets around Christmas to visit my family in the Midwest, our family traveled the week after, during New Year's and still got the family time we were hoping for.
CB got a lot of time with his Uncle - laughing, drumming, reading, rolling around on Nana's computer chair. Pretty much any kind of fun an uncle and nephew can have.
CB got some quality time with Nana. Lots of hugs and kisses - just what Nana's are for.
CB also hung out in his first fort. Papa's forts are famous in our house and it definitely was satisfactory to our little man. He kept crawling around, through, in and out of the fort and smiling the entire time as he chased around Papa.
And there as some very fun cousin time. Though seven years difference in age, these two connected like they never have before. CB got pushed around the living room in a hamper and played ball with his big cousin and love every minute of it!
