5 Months!

CB is five months old and this little man continues to capture our hearts. It seems like each day we uncover another layer to his personality. 

He's such a content little boy, who takes on the busy schedule of his mom and dad. Whether he's being carted around town with Hubby during the day, or spending time with friends on the weekend, he continues to keep a smile on his face and is very vocal about how he feels. You can usually catch CB babbling to himself, singing himself to sleep, or barking out his distaste for something. He knows how to communicate in his own little way, and it's fun to see him expressing himself. 

He's also a very curious boy (or social, we're not too sure yet). No matter where we go, he wants to see out and about - it's like he doesn't want to miss any of the action. His curiosity has been fun to watch, as it's lead him to discover his feet, which he grabs constantly, and his ears ("What are these strange things on the side of my head?"). 

And did I mention that he's active? Not necessarily rolling around and crawling... but this kid can move, kick and twist and you definitely have to be on your game when you're holding him. It won't be long until this little man is on the go.

As I mentioned in a previous post, CB also started solids this past month. In addition to the rice and veggies, he's eating his hands, his pacifier, his toys... well, basically eating anything he can get his hands. Can you tell that he's teething? No teeth yet, but he continually drools.
