We have an estimated 2 weeks left and counting. Hubby has asked me if I'm nervous or scared of the labor, or how our life is going to change in the coming days. To be honest, I'm not scared. I'm just curious of the unknown.
What's my labor going to be like? Is little BB going to be healthy? Who's he going to look like? How is life going to be once we're home together as a family?
Truly it's like booking a trip on an airline and not having a date stamped on my ticket. My bags are packed, I even know the pilot (the doctor), but I don't know the hour or the day when it will be go-time.
Thank goodness that we have a God who is in control and knows our life's outcome before it even begins.
Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.- Psalm 139:16
Whatever God's timing, we're now in the final countdown. And thanks to some of our dear friends, I have discovered my current theme song to match this moment in my life (the chorus - not so much the verses).
May this lovely 80's hit get stuck in your head, as much as it has for me recently.
